The Richest Man. Inspirational. For Reflection

This person was traveling life’s journey with only the necessary to live, but he found in his path -by works of destiny, with another person, who asked very little from him but even though it was very little, when one does not have, then, even a “little” seems a lot.
-This person is asking for what I have, which is almost nothing. But I am going to share, since life is not only to be lived for myself but “to live is to coexist with the universe.” Since this person who asks is also myself. I don’t have much, just a little more than nothing but anyway, I will share my bread, he thought.
He, then, divided his belongings in two portions and told the other person:
-Let’s share what I have, take what you need.
-I don’t have anything but a great need. Your help is rather my wealth, you have freed me from poverty, you have become poorer in order to help my condition, replied the other person.
-No, you have not made me poorer, since you taught me that the little that I had, was a lot. You, then, made me rich, because you who said was poor, have given me spiritual nourishment since you helped me to share. Though, many things will come my way: riches, appreciation, understanding, respect, friendship and gratitude. When I look at you, I see myself and I renew my values, my efforts and my dedication, said the traveler.
And the man asking answered:
-I see great nobility, and a firm decision to do good in you. I see a man of faith, of principles and compassion and because you have a selfless heart, I will reveal you a secret. I am not the beggar that you thought, I am not the humiliated man who has nothing, I am not the man suffering, the abandoned man. I am an angel who came from heaven to see your heart and I found with great happiness and joy that you are the richest man of the world since you have been capable of Giving and Sharing. That is the reason, that I reveal myself to you, so you know that you have the right path. You have more wealth that a mountain of gold, you have a pure, noble and gentile heart; the perfection and grace of the fraternal love is reflected in you. You know the supreme value of wealth, of needs and the true reality of Love.
After saying this words, the angel embraced him.
And the one who shared, not only duplicated what he had, but he had in abundance and his wealth could only be compared to the sky and the stars, since he knew from that instant on, that God is present in the gift of Giving and Service.

The Healer and the Healing

There will be treasures, extraordinary wealth, whole kingdoms, wonderful jewels, but there is something that is very true, if there is no good health all this is not worth it, since the wealth of man can’t be measured for the quantity of problems that he may or may not have, then a man can consider himself to be rich and lucky, but who knows of this ? Very few. It is necessary that someone reminds us, but the advice comes in a lot of forms. Moreover, while more forms better is the advice.
By example: Man is not alone, the universe and him are much closer, one to the other. And if we want to go to some place, wherever we go, or if we want to come from some place, wherever we come, we must always be in harmony with the universe because life is not by chance, life is a general balance between the small man and the big universe, between the big man and the small universe. Nothing is a chimera, nothing happens because of good or bad luck. There is an order that the wise man respects and the ignorant pretends to reject.
In the holistic healing the healer is the one who has been able to understand that the universe has laws and that there is a language, almost silent but that paradoxically seems that it shouts, agitates, sighs, declares itself, cries out and reclaims and says to man :
There is no man if there is no universe and such understanding needs a wise, sensitive and intelligent meditator, who is especially and properly motivated. Then, is not possible to speak about a man who is not also in the universe and there is nothing in the universe that is not also in man.
In the holistic medicine and in the healer, man and the universe are the same, there are no differences. The Healer is the one who gives the orientation, who guides, therefore he is also the man and the universe. To respect the laws and to respect the universe is the beginning of the Healer and the Healing.

The Inner Vision

To develop mastery in meditation is necessary to be free of every search and pre-established idea. Nevertheless, one should always do the best effort because to meditate is to learn to flow through the inner vision and this is as contemplating the horizon, which is always an integral look more than the concentration on an idea. Therefore, meditation is to deepen in the continuous effort that is compared with a river that flows.
The idea is to expand the calm, the stillness and with this peace, wisdom and love will come.

Archetypes

Science is only the veil of reality since there is always something beyond, so deep that is related to time, space, light and darkness. Of this substance arises the original mind which is all and nothing. Here I tell its history, origin, destination, its reason and its way.
The Creative Act bears essence and substance.
The Verb is intention, concrete definition, limits, measurements, structure, reason and conduct, genre and motivation. Therefore, the Word is in itself an intention that necessarily will become body and form. And its original form will be light. This light already has from birth, a serious, important and diligent commitment, which is not to serve the coincidence but in its essence to serve to the perfect order and reason. Therefore, the light is the law, the rule, the norm; and its only possible real application is the living word since It is.
Because of this commitment, life is a pact of reciprocity, order, balance and justice. The light is then the original archetype of life. Life supports itself by the order. This is known as the natural good. And what is against the order is the evil, which consists of disobeying the law.
It is going against or becoming resistant or altering the law somewhat or to make its fulfillment in evil.
Then, in fact, there is no polarity of good but its denial.
It is very important to explain here the details.
It has been erroneously believed that good and evil are two complementary opposites, but is not like that; in the theory of the complementary opposites, the idea is to reach the equilibrium because there is interdependence and promotion since one gives way to the other and both balance. In the case of good and evil, both claim the whole, and an absolute victory without any commitment or possible negotiation. Good is never a half good or evil is a half evil or we are a little good and a little evil. Nobody can say half honest or half liar. This is clearly reflected and better seen in the ethical and moral values. This is the reason that there is no possible commitment, balance and truce, since they are not only truly absolutist but simply that good and evil cannot coincide.

Haiti, you are in our Prayers

Let us keep our brothers and sisters in Haiti in our thoughts and prayers as they are recovering from the effects of the earthquake that devastated their country.
In addition to the gift of prayer, other ways in which we can offer assistance is by uniting our efforts with those of various agencies and organizations, which are already providing relief for our suffering brothers and sisters in Haiti.

Happy New Year 2010

Today is the last day of a year that brought joy and sadness.
Only God knows the reason of these mysteries but man has the capacity to dream about a better world. Tomorrow a window will open for all humanity. And once again, we have hope for better times and a superior life.
Let’s find in God, the renewed energy and the so much wished peace to reach each being. And certainly this will not happen by itself, let’s put our best goodwill and determination towards all humanity; understanding now, the importance of a better world.
God has offered us so much Love! Let’s appreciate and let’s make from now on a better world for today, tomorrow and always.

Meditation and the Present Moment

From a long meditation process the man came out. Many springs had already passed, in fact, so many, that he had forgotten the scent and the aroma of the flowers. He was a person that had been searching for the meaning of life, that had abandoned all tastes and pleasures, since he felt that he had to give priority to more fundamental aspects, at least, he thought that way. After ending the meditation, he was thinking that it was necessary to increase the meditation, that maybe he had lost too much time and that he would have to make a better effort. Therefore, he went in search of an old teacher, that is to say, perhaps a little older that himself. After a pilgrimage, he found the longed for master and he told him about his efforts, sacrifices and austerities and the teacher said to him: “Ah, that is the reason that you have not been seen anymore,
that you have also lost the smile and the youth. You have been, he said clearly, looking for in the wrong places, you have locked up your spirit and you have not allowed it to travel neither by the world nor by your life. Nobody has been able to know you and nobody knows you, you did not care for an animal, you did not water a plant, you did not kiss the forehead of a child, you did not have dreams with the loved person. you did not watch over the nights to see the light of a new day, you did not know how the birds fly and nest and besides all that and much more, you were thinking that you were looking for truth? Does the flower try to wither or do you think that the children should be born pale, ill, without energy, and from youth one should run away, frightened? Why have you denied life, why have you thought that by hurting you, you punished some demon and you did not realize that everything you did was to bleed slowly? Please, now that you have left your own captivity, do not carry to extremes your confusion.
Be as the light of the sun that does not hide or like the brilliant green of the leaves reflecting life’s energy. Do not accuse yourself, please, neither reject the favor of your senses, learn and understand that your heart has been born to love and be loved, cultivate the friendship and put faith in the work of your hands, do not cut your walking by life, do not die without having lived, enjoy with sincerity the joy of the present. If there is something mistaken in man is the fact that he refuses to live. Why do you look beyond yourself? What you must do is to accept and to know yourself. The Love that has created and maintains all life, has not made it a crime or punishment.
Do not reject the existence and make now of your meditation not a cold tomb, but a purpose to reach dignity, happiness by sharing day by day, the joy that is the natural sense of the soul.”
And that man, who had meditated without true understanding, then, he just had a glimpse of the most perfect and absolute reality: The Present.

How to Listen to and How to Understand the Inner Silence

This is a really important subject. It has to do with everything that properly means Spiritual Awakening. First of all, there must be patience, respect, humility and real desire of Love to the Truth.
Inner silence, is the necessary introduction in the mystic process of the spiritual adoration. This means that inner silence, truly is, a prayer of praise but without words.
Why, without words?
Because before this, everything has already being said. The moment arrives then, where we unite in the spiritual elevation of the surrender, itself.
And listening is, literally, to feel how all our being fills with a great Love. This Love is of pure spiritual nature. And this Love that we feel, is also the Love that we receive. This is the correct way of understanding how to listen to, and to feel in silence, the presence of Divine Love.
There is much to say on this subject, but one step at the time, will take us to the culmination of this important experience in the life of every person who looks for communion with the truth: “God.”

The Search for Truth. Inspirational Story

A selected group of people left on a journey searching for Truth. Some traveled by ship, got lost and were never found. Others, went to the highest mountains with steep summits and were never found. Others, traveled by paths and paths, got lost, and were never found either. But others stayed to reflect, they got lost in their reflection, and their minds were never found. Only one, who recogned that all the others had failed, understood that Truth was neither in a far away place nor near him because every place, finally is a place. And he said: ” If it is not here, if it is not there. Where is Truth? It seems to hide, to conceal.”
He finally got older and his time to die arrived. And in his deathbed, close to leave, a very small child approached him and said: ” Why do you have to leave? “
And he learned the first truth: Nothing is permanent. If you search for Truth in the impermanent, you will not find it.
He stared at the child and said: ” Don’t do what I did. Don’t look for Truth because you will get lost and will only find the impermanent.”
The child did not understand and said: ” Truth, what is Truth. I don’t know.”
Then, the old man understood the Second Truth: There is a profound mystery that covers Truth. It is a vast infinite cloak that is present in everything that exists, in the time, in the temporary. All may seem very real one day and the next day, it may not be. And this is a mystery and it was found that everything changes and that the secret of Truth is kept as mystery. What is the mystery? It is the search for Truth in what is transitory.
Then, what could he explain to that child about Truth, which he has searched for so much? He could not say anything because he did not know anything. Nevertheless, the child understood and said: ” Oh, I know what Truth is. It is what nobody can talk about, then I will listen to it in the silence.”
And that old man understood that what is relative is changing. And that the mystery is won in the silence. And when surprised by the silence, he found himself with the mind serene and everything was then Truth. Life is like a dream and what is permanent and important inhabits in the spiritual silence, in secret words, in the eternal spiritual vision.
Truth, which is immortal essence, is not born, does not ever die.
And that man saw the child and understood: ” Even though I may leave, one part of me will stay in you and another part of you will leave with me. Separated, united, that is the Truth. In essence, nothing comes and nothing goes. What is permanent always is.”

Why God does not Listen?

On many occasions, we ignore God as if He was too far away and could not listen to our unimportant problems. And thus, we start building a large separation as a wall that we cannot come through, while our faith weakens and our hope dies. And to make things worse, we start seeing the world as the total reality and our values fall to the ground and become nothing.
Then, we think that we can do everything by ourselves, assuming that this is freedom, until the time comes that we fall into our own trap. And difficulties follow that can’t be solved by the world and all becomes a nightmare. It is there, when we try to come through the wall built by us, while saying:
” Why God does not listen?” “Why God does not help me?” And to make things worse, we recriminate and offend Him because he is not solving our problems. But, did God create our problems?
And we continue until the end of that road and then we have a small opportunity, of kneeling and clamoring for God’s presence.
Forgive me my Lord, for all my lacks, for my wrong kind of life, for my confusion and selfishness. I searched other paths. I took my eyes off you. But I now understand that I need you, even more than the newborn child needs his mother, I cannot take a step if you don’t guide me.
Look at me, lost, filled with difficulties and enemies, living in the valley of the shadows; nobody wants to rescue or assist me. But I need You. Be my light, my shield, my sword, defend me even from myself.
I repent of all my wrongdoings and also of moving away from my true home because you are that house, that fortress, that castle, that empire, that wisdom and that home.
And today, lost and humble,I ask you to give me just a moment, since just a moment is needed to change my heart. Then, I will have the strength to overcome the unbearable because You will be with me, and then, who can be against me?
Lord, be my refuge, my breath, my heart, my will. I don’t want to go on without You. I need You and surrender to You. I put everything into Your Hands. I’m a small, insignificant fish and you are the infinite sea. Take me where you want to, guide me, be my only truth and destiny. I have lived the wrong way, living a fantasy that I confused as the real life. And now everyting -as water between my hands, slipped away. And i felt the deepest and most terrible fear in the loneliness of my soul, which is the fear that You are not longer by my side.
Today, I look for you, bowing my head, repenting and asking You to accept me and to let me live at your feet since I now know that it is more valuable to live like this that having the world, since nothing is true in the world.
Lord,do not take your eyes off me, your compassion heals my heart, please, pick up my unworthy soul, which wants to promise that only in You, will find the meaning of truth.
Lord, allow me not me, but You to live in me. Raise me from hell, bring me out of darkness, clean me with your presence and allow me to love You with all the strength of my heart.
Be my comforter, light in the path, living water that satiates my thirst and removes my suffering.
Lord, the world condemns, traps, incriminates me but I no longer want to deceive, to lie, to ignore, to confuse. Listen to the clamor of this humble soul that joins his hands and asks for your forgiveness.
Lord, become the beating of this heart which is already Yours.
